Woolshed Summer Ale

TASTING NOTES \nWoolshed Brewing created Australian Blonde Ale to match up with their sun-soaked Riverland days using all Australian malt, a touch of wheat, and new world hop varieties for a subtle fruity character. \nBREWERY SNAPSHOT \nAfter purchasing a ‘Brewmaster 1000-2E Microbrewery from Australian company Integrated Brewing Solutions in July 2008, the clean up and installation of the old Woolshed began. Woolshed is a zero waste brewery, utilising state of the art designs to use and re-use hot and cold water without the need for excessive heating. Also, with drainage troughs and a holding/settling tank, all waste water from the brewery is used on their extensive garden. \nDID YOU KNOW? \nWoolshed use all of their spent grain to feed their livestock. With further recent upgrades to their solar power, Woolshed is now in excess of 30kw helping to power the brewery and houseboats.
