The Adelaide Hills is located in the Mount Lofty Ranges, east of Adelaide. One of the largest geographical wine regions in Australia, its diversity in altitude, climate, and soil helps produce distinctive cool-climate wines. Vintage 2020 was a challenging year in the Adelaide Hills. Fortunately, the fruit sourced for this wine was not affected by smoke taint. Although yields were low, quality was exceptional, with excellent flavour and colour.

Wine
This wine follows a simple winemaking process where the fruit does most of the work. The fruit was crushed and gently pressed, the juice clarified, and a small portion was aged in old barrels to add texture and complexity. The result is a bright, fresh, fruit-driven wine. A classic Pinot Grigio, it shows flavours of crisp, juicy, just-ripe pear with a touch of citrus on the palate. Delicate, stylish, and refined, it is a wine that would feel perfectly at home on the catwalks of Milan.
