The Bruery Terreux Tart of Darkness

Tart of Darkness is a traditional stout aged in used oak barrels from The Bruery, which previously housed beers such as Cuivre™ and Black Tuesday®. The barrels were then transferred to Bruery Terreux, where a special blend of souring bacteria and wild yeasts was added, allowing nature to take its course. The result is a perfectly tart yet deeply dark, roasty sour stout. It is a style rarely seen, and in Bruery Terreux’s opinion, not seen often enough. This unique stout offers notes of tart plum, roasted coffee, vanilla, and oak.
