Old Kempton Port Cask Strength Whisky

Matured in an x-Tokay cask. Amber gold. Thick legs. Honey, caramel fudge, Monte Carlo biscuits and toffee-apple aromas are followed by cedar wood, trace caraway and dark rye. Tasted undiluted this shows impressive balance with thick, almost chewy malt and an intense, mildly bittersweet attack. Creamier to finish with a slow motion burst of sweet spices and a late resurgence of sugars sustaining the aftertaste.
