Since human beings first began voyaging out into the sea there have always been rituals and ceremonies hoping to ensure safe passage. The Romans would pay tribute to Neptune, God of the Freshwater and Sea. Those who successfully journeyed and crossed the equator, would transform in status from pollywogs to "Sons and Daughters of Neptune." Their second collaboration brew with Outer Range for the Carwyn Collaborational has been named in honour of this tradition.
