TASTING NOTES \nAkasha Korben IIPA, 375ml Can, ABV 8.5% \nFrom the heart of the hop cosmos comes the Korben. A dazzling constellation of Simcoe, Centennial and Mosaic with a huge passionfruit shine, soaring tropicals, subtle sweetness and a sublime bitter finish, it’s as artfully composed as the music of the spheres. \n \nStone & Wood X Afends Crop Circles Mango, Macadamia & Hemp Pale Ale, 500ml Can, ABV 5.0% \nThis one started as an idea for Record Store Day. A Black IPA seemed appropriate. Only problem was Little Bang didn’t like them very much. Something about the roasted malt bite and the big piney hops didn’t sit so well. So the mission was clear: Come up with a Black IPA recipe that they’d actually want to drink. So they rounded out the roast a bit and concentrated more on the richer, fruitier hops than the pine cones. The end result is a smoother black hop bomb than most, with a bit of xmas cake to it, and a regular favourite for them.
