Not just any Doppelbock, this super-special collaborative brew celebrates two venues and their shared love for their doggos. Coming in at 7.1% ABV, it’s rich, sweet, and malty, with notes of chocolate and stone fruits, finished with a noticeable warming alcohol presence.
The artwork is inspired by old-world Ayinger Celebrator labels and was created by Burnley’s artist-in-residence, Lily Parvati. She explains that while traditional Doppelbock labels often featured goats, they chose to showcase Harry—Burnley’s brewery dog—and Gretel—Mr West’s office dog—because who doesn’t love dogs? Drawing from her nature-inspired practice, she also incorporated the beauty of the German landscape.
