Dog C is an extra-special brew created to mark seven years of BrewDog. Like Dog A and Dog B before it, Dog C is an imperial stout brewed with a potent mix of speciality ingredients. It pours like dark matter into the glass, crowned with a deep tan head.
On the nose, there’s a subtle yet powerful blend of dark chocolate, espresso, chilli spice, and molasses, enhanced by notes of cocoa powder and brandy. The palate delivers a chewy treacle-toffee backbone that supports spicy hop character and the warming heat of naga chilli. The malt bill adds further spice from rye, along with a smooth, refined mouthfeel from wheat and oats.
