2010 Sheer Drop Botrytis Ries

This sweet dessert style wine was grown in Faraday, Central Victoria, on the granite soils of Mount Alexander. The flavours of dried apricot combine with citrus and brown spice in a classic style that is a perfect accompaniment for both dessert and cheese courses. The wine has a rich and generous palate with a clean finish and strong acid balance. The Faraday vineyards are just 12 km from the vibrant artistic community of Castlemaine, home to many renowned visual and performing artists.
