2009 Sheer Drop Merlot

This full bodied merlot was grown in Faraday, Central Victoria, on the granite soils of Mount Alexander. It shows bright, ruby purple colour with generous aromas of blackcurrant, spicy plum and toasty new oak. A finely structured wine of considerable length. The Faraday vineyards are just 12 km from the vibrant artistic community of Castlemaine. home to many renowned visual and performing artists. The distinctive work of painter Katharina Rapp is featured on the front label.
